Di pantai bersama Rohida dan Aniza
Ida and Anie were my ex-schoolmates. Last Saturday Ida came to her friend's wedding, and spent the whole Saturday afternoon tertidur in front of TV at my house after makan-makan sup daging and roti. Afta that, we went to Pantai Teluk Ketapang because according to Ida, "Aku nak makan sotong celup tepung!"
Ahh...the joy on unexpected visit from an old school friend.

Me and Ida..UM Royal Debate 2009
It was supposed to be holiday cum movie-going week for us, but somehow it turned into an eating-sessions plus tukang-bawa-makanan-for-debaters for us. We started our journey to KL at around 12 noon, 2nd December 2009. 12 noon?? you say, well, fret not, as the road is cooled down by continuous downpour commemorating the end of the year 2009.
The journey was wet until we reached Pahang border where somehow, the sun magically appears and thus dried up all the rain drops on the car.
It was a rejuvenating weekend I must say, whats with the incessant trips back and forth on the hotel lift, which 'accidentally' brought us to Midvalley Megamall. Yup, we stayed at the Cititel Hotel Midvalley, which complimentary breakfast consists of all kinds of scrumptious dishes. All but ONE: the ikan bilis for nasi lemak, which in my opinion, of the lowest quality.
How do I know? I've lived by the sea for 26 years and counting. I can tell the ikan kerisi from kerapu and muddok from tenggiri. (ape aku merepek nih??). But really, Cititel, get a better supply of ikan bilis lah! It tasted like selipar jepun keras yang di bakar dalam microwave!

Wet November
All along November, days are spent inside the house, watching the ceiling and wondering whether it will come crashing soon. Apart from that, this month is the ONLY month that I can sleep with a comforter. It's the coolest month of the year and I like and hate it.
Hate it for the damage it caused. My mom's car garage lost ALL its roof, and our house is becoming tongkang pecah as one of the neighbour's roof flew over and hit our roof, and there we have it - the rat-tat-tat sound of rain water dripping from the broken roof, seeping through the white ceiling and right onto the abundance of baldies and kain buruks all laid out on the floor. And my room is right beside the ceiling!

Mee Udang dekat Kafe Pok Wan sebelah Hock Kee Seng Gong Badak. Not nice at all. Recommended: Mini pancakes with honey and ice cream. And awesome roti bakar+white coffee.
